We love the challenge of unique projects...
Step-by-Step: 1954 American League Champion Cleveland Indians
Wahoo! Look what we can do!

The challenge was to frame original 1954 Cleveland Indians baseball cards of their starting lineup players, including the starting rotation, as a gift for the client's father, a die-hard Cleveland Indians fan. The project included brass plates identifying the player and his position underneath his card, as well as a postcard of the Indians ballpark.

We recreated the ballpark using a green mat for the outfield and infield grass, a tan mat for the dirt portions of the infield, basepaths, pitcher's mound and around home plate. The foul lines were drawn in white, the pitcher's rubber, home plate and bases were cut from foam core. The bases were wrapped in fabric to mimic the canvas bags used in 1954.

We reproduced the Indian's "Wahoo" logo and typestyle for the "Indians" name in a vinyl transfer and added these touches to the foul lines and in center field.

The cards were placed and secured in their appropriate positions.

We used a two-tone cherry reverse frame as a shadow box for the project...

Mike Labus, the sales representative for the Décor molding used, was shown the almost finished project and was thrilled with it.
