Opening Reception for juried show “Color for the Soul”

We are so excited to invite you to our next exhibition, a juried show titled “Color for the Soul”!
Join us Thursday, June 5th, from 5 – 7 PM for a wine and cheese reception accompanied by piano stylings from the talented Polly Smith.
Prizes will be awarded at the reception. All art exhibited will be available for purchase and the show will run until Saturday, June 28.
Thank you to our judge, Thomas Nazario! Thomas Nazario is a South Central PA-based multidisciplinary artist and high school teacher in the West Shore School District, where he has been teaching art for the past nine years. Nazario’s mixed-media catalogue explores the interplay of color and texture, using saturated hues to accentuate impressed textures of everyday objects present in his works. Through expressionistic collagraph prints, paintings, mixed-media collages, and ceramic forms, he captures observations of his surroundings with a dynamic and tactile approach.
A very special thank you to Bill Warren for his sponsorship of the monetary awards, in honor of his late wife, Ellen Warren. Ellen was a tireless and ardent supporter of ALL the arts. Ellen was a fine artist herself and had amassed quite an extensive collection of local art. She is sorely missed by all who knew her.
