Gail Walden Coleman

Gail Walden Coleman artwork in our gallery

Gail Walden ColemanMy art is about ‘the journey’, the adventure and transformations that occur as we go through life. It celebrates the human spirit – its durability and sense of humor. And it shares my amazement at Mother Nature and how she never ceases to delight! And sometimes my art is just silly! Abstract (non-representational) painting allows me the freedom to play and experiment.

Gail is self-taught, constantly studying via workshops and on-line courses.  In 2016, Gail took her first abstract painting workshop, closely followed by a workshop in Oil and Cold Wax. She was “smitten”! When she discovered “gestural intuitive” painting, she was hooked!
Gail has previously trained in painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and jewelry design.

Gail has exhibited at Carlisle Arts Learning Center, Perry County Council for the Arts,  Penny Gallery at the Pond in Carlisle, PA, The Art Association of Harrisburg, The York Art Association, and numerous shows, galleries and boutiques.

She lives in Mechanicsburg, PA with her husband and sidekick beagle, Alex.
